PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis alignment device for a liquid lens. SOLUTION: The optical axis alignment device includes a transparent substrate, a symmetric electrode structure, and a transparent insulating layer. The electrode structure is capable of supplying an electric field and defines a central axis of the electrode. The insulating layer provides an optical axis alignment structure symmetric with respect to the electrode central axis so as to enclose the electrode central axis.
