本發明提供一種用於提升靛類化合物的產量之方法，包含以下步驟：(a)對一野生型含黃素單加氧酶進行突變，得到一經突變的含黃素單加氧酶；以及(b)令該經突變的含黃素單加氧酶與一包含色胺酸的培養液作用歷時一預定時間，使該色胺酸轉化為該靛類化合物。相較於該野生型含黃素單加氧酶，該經突變的含黃素單加氧酶使該靛類化合物的產量被提升。本發明亦提供一種用於提升靛類化合物的產量之重組型多肽。

The present disclosure provides a method for increasing production of an indigoid compound, including the following steps: (a) subjecting mutation to a wild-type flavin-containing monooxygenase to obtain a mutated flavin-containing monooxygenase; and (b) allowing the mutated flavin-containing monooxygenase to interact with a culture medium containing tryptophan for a predetermined time to convert the tryptophan into the indigoid compound. Compared with the wild-type flavin-containing monooxygenase, the mutated flavin-containing monooxygenase increases production of the indigoid compound. The present disclosure also provides a recombinant polypeptide for increasing production of the indigoid compound.
