The present disclosure provides a method for fabricating a nickel-cerium dioxide-aluminum oxide hybrid nanoparticle cluster catalyst. The method includes a solution preparation step, an aerosolization step, a drying step, a first calcining step, a reducing gas addition step and a second calcining step. The solution preparation step is provided for obtaining a precursor solution. The aerosolization step is provided for obtaining an aerosolized droplet. The drying step is provided to evaporation-induced self-assemble the aerosolized droplet into a precursor crystallite. The first calcining step is provided for obtaining an oxidation state catalyst. The second calcining step is provided for obtaining the nickel-cerium dioxide-aluminum oxide hybrid nanoparticle cluster catalyst. Accordingly, the present disclosure can control the condition of the nickel-cerium dioxide-aluminum oxide hybrid nanoparticle cluster catalyst to achieve high activity and good operation stability. The catalyst can be used to catalyze reductive amination of propylene glycol to synthesize the polyetheramine. |
