一種微生物燃料電池及其製造方法。所述微生物燃料電池包括正極、負極與微生物群。負極係以廢棄的咖啡渣製備之活性碳作為電極材料，而微生物群則附著於所述活性碳表面。由於以廢棄的咖啡渣製備之活性碳有利於各式微生物群附著而形成生物膜，所以可提升微生物燃料電池的電子轉移效率。

A microbial fuel cell and a method of manufacturing the same areprovided. The microbial fuel cell includes a cathode, an anode, and amicrobial community. The anode is made of an activated carbon preparedfrom waste coffee ground as an electrode material, and the microbialcommunity is adhered to the surface of the activated carbon. Since theactivated carbon prepared from waste coffee ground is beneficial for theadhesion of various microbial communities to form a biofilm, the electrontransfer efficiency of the microbial fuel cell may be improved.
